it could have been me and you

Your eyes don't fool you! I'm actually wearing a winter appropriate outfit for once! My fondness of baggy men's sweaters and bright pants come together in this post. I had to return the men's sweater I wore in this post so I helped myself to a new one! It has been doing a great job keeping me warm and cozy. My workplace has an air-system that seems determined to turn everyone into ice cubes. It should go without saying that cold air should not be blowing onto my head when its -5 outside! But I digress, simple outfits still dominate my day-to-day style, and it doesn't get easier than a baggy sweater and pants.

Also, I've developed a serious addiction to bracelets lately. Thanks to some DIYs from HonestlyWTF I plan on added many more to my collection! J and I got some supplies at Queen West just last Saturday and I've already made 5 beaded bracelets. They are a great way to add a bit of sparkle and colour to any outfit.

  1. I love the bracelets, and the red pants, it has been on my mind for a while, and now I might feel tempted to buy a pair. For some reason I try not to buy pants or skirts thinking that somehow magically I will lose some weight. My taste in baked good does not help (made a lime pie on the weekend) :)

    1. mmm yum! my love of baked goods and iced desserts have no boundaries haha! Hence my new found love of all things baggy!
I got mine for a mere $20. They are everywhere now so by spring/summer they should be on sale even more :)

  2. +1 for mens' sweaters! i borrow my brother's sweaters all the time because they're just perfectly sized for comfort (i buy them for him, so i should know ;) hehe). my office is relatively cold in the wintertime too, but it's that same temperature in the summer too, so i guess it works out...

    1. haha smart! I'm sure you try them on for "him" before hand.

same here but that generally means I have to leave heavy sweaters at work in the summer time so I don't freeze in the clothes I wear outside! D:
